haarlem and I

On April 17, 2020, Artvark started the project Haarlem and me for the 775th anniversary of Haarlem. Intention was together with all Haarlemmers to make one large work of art for the city, consisting of hundreds of small zigzag books (leporellos) that, when filled and handed in, together form the 'library of friends'. This resulted in a special gift, a time document for the city Haarlem established. Verwey Museum Haarlem has given the library of friends a permanent place in the corridor of the museum and will exhibit different books in the display case each time.
