Story Festival Haarlem

The theme of the Story Festival this year is 'City antics'.

Young and old can enjoy Haarlemse historical stories in different forms. Five short stories, 15-20 minutes, for all ages. A narrator or an entire group, each story is unique.
Characters from the past come to life or the storyteller takes you back in time. Do you hear something new from the rich Haarlemhistory or will it be a fairy tale? You can't just hear stories at Verwey Museum Haarlem but also in the Hoofdwacht, Teylers Museum, the North Holland Archive and the Archaeological Museum.

In Verwey Museum Haarlem our master storyteller Piet van der Meij is present again. And who do you think he's going to talk about? Of course about our new namesake, come and listen to The Painter on the Spaarne!
