Step into the colorful world of the famous Haarlemse artist Kees Verwey and his wife Jeanne. Be inspired by the exhibitions and then get to work yourself. A unique experience for young artists in the making! Of course, you can take the artwork home with you. More information and registration here.

Looking for adventure? Each exhibition has a Look smarter with questions and assignments that help children learn even more about what's on display in an exhibition. Dive into the past of Haarlem with the Haarlemse Mug in the historical exhibition All Haarlemmers Or explore the Kees Verwey exhibitions. Do you know the answers to all the questions? For the whole family: forgotten words scavenger hunt
In the exhibition All Haarlemmers get to know Haarlemmers from the past and present, from world-famous to ordinary. You will discover the city through their eyes and, just as importantly, through their language. Straatslijperij, plusfour, plateelbakkers – words that you no longer hear today, but once had a permanent place in our language. What do they actually mean? Learn more about the history of the city and test your language skills with the treasure hunt Forgotten words. Available at the counter.
A city walk full of art
In collaboration with Guild Haarlem our museum organizes special walking tours about art and history in HaarlemThe guide will take you along the houses of Haarlemartists such as Kees Verwey and Henri Boot and along other hidden spots in the city. Tour of the former St. Elisabeth's Hospital
