Discover the freedom of embroidery during this creative workshop Intuitive Embroidery with Amsterdam textile artist Stella Toonen.

In this workshop you will first visit the exhibition Jeanne Verwey-Tilbusscher – More than a muse. Jeanne was—besides being Kees Verwey's wife and muse—a talented needlework artist. Her colorful, loose stitches and playful compositions reflect the expressiveness of Verwey's painting.

Get inspired by her work and then get started yourself! Stella guides you step-by-step through creative exercises, after which you'll have the freedom to embroider freely. Even without experience, you can join in; beginners will receive a short, basic tutorial.
