Story afternoon with Wijnand Stomp: Anansi the Spider
Fun for young and old!
Come to a special performance with storyteller Wijnand Stomp! In a theatrical and compelling way, Wijnand gets into the skin of Anansi the Spider, the famous figure from various West African, Caribbean and Surinamese fairy tales. Wijnand connects the present and the past with attention to the colonial and slavery past, taking the audience on a journey full of humor, infectious mischief and a touch of wisdom.
Wijnand Stomp (1958) is a kids' comedian. With humor, infectious mischief and a touch of wisdom, Stomp knows how to touch young and old. He became famous for his theatrical interpretations of the clever spider Anansi.
