vacancy: director verwey museum haarlem

Are you an enthusiastic leader with a heart for art and heritage? Do you want to further develop a museum that connects (art) history and contemporary themes? Verwey Museum Haarlem is looking for a director who can provide direction for the future with vision and enthusiasm.

Verwey Museum Haarlem is there for everyone: from born Haarlemmers to new city dwellers, young and old. We bring (art) history to life by linking it to the present and create exhibitions together with our visitors. Since the redevelopment, art has played a greater role in the museum, with a permanent place for the work of Kees Verwey. The unique combination of art and heritage attracts a wide audience and makes the museum an inspiring place.

We strive to be the starting point of Haarlem to be, where residents and visitors get to know and understand the city. The historical layout, full of references to other heritage and art institutions, brings that goal a step closer.
