Verwey Museum Haarlem looking for administrator / day coordinator

In one of the most beautiful streets of Haarlem is Verwey Museum

Haarlem, the city museum for history and art.

Several times a year new exhibitions are presented with special themes from the history and present of Haarlem and South Kennemerland. In addition, there is the permanent exhibition of Kees Verwey and there are temporary exhibitions Haarlemse artists.
The museum is made possible thanks to 85 volunteers.

We are looking for an administrator for the Friday from 9.00 a.m. to 13.00 p.m. There is also a caretaker present on the other weekdays.
As a manager, you are the permanent point of contact for the daily ins and outs of the museum. You are an independent working person with a customer-oriented attitude.

For example, the work consists of:

• Opening the museum and point of contact for desk staff
• Handling incoming email, mail and telephone (possibly administrative jobs)
• If necessary, carry out technical maintenance and petty cash management.

Our volunteers ensure that the museum maintains a representative appearance. Working for us offers a lot of room for your own initiative, input and creativity.
