new in collection: 18 objects by Haarlem cartoonist Jos Looman

 

We have received a special donation from the internationally renowned Haarlemcartoonist and artist Jos Looman (1941–2024). The donation consists of 18 works, including comic drawings, sketches and paintings.

Jos Looman is best known as a comic strip artist Genghis Khan, which appeared in the legendary magazine between 1973 and 1975 PEPThis donation was made possible by Jeroen Looman and Drs Marius Sterrenburg. The museum is very pleased and grateful for this valuable addition to the collection.
