Museum Haarlem becomes even more beautiful
Museum Haarlem aan het Groot Heiligland has announced a name change. The museum has been called 'Verwey Museum' since Friday 23 September Haarlem'.
The new name was made public during the opening of four new exhibitions. Director Laura van der Wijden says that the new name is related to a close collaboration with the Kees Verwey Foundation. Verwey's work will have a permanent place in the museum, with two new rooms.
Not only are there new exhibitions in the museum, the museum café has also been renovated.
