For her series Early Digital Tech, Artifacts from The Age of Acceleration Like a futuristic archaeologist, Lilly Lulay collected digital entertainment electronics, storage[1] and transmission media from the past five decades. To realize her series, she chose embroidery. This ancient technique of storing and transmitting information serves as an antidote to the mass-produced, rapidly aging technological devices that transmit information, such as floppy disks, CD-ROMs, and cell phones.
