make your own Christmas peep box!

Anneke van de Wal has been building her miniature worlds in wooden drawers and boxes since 2019. She creates these so-called dioramas, or display boxes, from her small home in the Hofje van Bakenes. She makes these boxes from old, recycled materials. She is always on the lookout for usable materials. What she hasn't been able to find, She makes them from polymer clay. Her art cabinets offer a glimpse into her tranquil, tiny world.

During this workshop you will go on a discovery tour through the mini-exhibition together with our guides Peepklein. You can shine a flashlight into the cabinets and discover a hidden world! Then you can get started yourself: you make your own little peep viewing box, completely in the winter or Christmas spirit!
