As when the snake rejuvenates its skin, the withered skin is lost,

so once the actor wore his false face, and was born again.

After death his face was cast in a wax mask,

behind it a lamp was lit, the flame a soul watcher.

What once was the spiritual armor, aimed at outward appearance,

now rose from the ashes, to end life.
